The Nanubhai Education Foundation (NEF) was established to facilitate higher education access for economically vulnerable girls residing in rural India through sustainable and scalable programs. NEF's flagship initiative, the Nanubhai Scholars program, bestows complete college scholarships that cover dormitory, food, and textbook expenses to rural girls. A notable statistic is that 21% of Nanubhai Scholars are the first women in their families to achieve literacy, and on average, a Scholar's graduation results in a fourfold increase in her family's annual income within two years. Presently, NEF has distributed over 800 scholarships across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, with the overarching goal of awarding 1000 scholarships annually.
